This is what we do...

The youth ministry at Georgetown desires to draw students into a genuine, personal relationship with Christ, which enables them to live meaningful and effective lives.  This is done by tailoring youth ministry to student’s needs.  It attempts to understand them and present the gospel in a way they can readily understand.  In youth ministry, we enter the student’s world in the name of Jesus. We believe youth ministry is relational, experiential, diverse, accountable, family friendly and Christ-centered.

This is how…

There are several opportunities for spiritual growth.  We have a Wednesday night meeting that focuses on the Worship of Jesus Christ; we spend time in the Word together and have small groups. In Sunday school we strive to go deeper in the Scriptures and spend time together exploring the Word. We also have other specialized programs like Project Ion and Praise band that help students tap into their potential leadership abilities. We also have fun monthly activities that we do that help stretch and facilitate spiritual growth.

This is why…

Our desire is to develop relationships that are meaningful, relationships that matter and that are life-lasting and life-changing.  Our desire is create an environment that each student can be free to share and truly be listened to.  Our leaders work hard to develop relationships that are good accountability partnerships with these students.   It is through these relationships we strive to work on the most important relationship and that is their relationship to Jesus Christ.

This is how YOU can get involved...
