Office Manager, Financial Secretary, Family Life Educator
I accepted Christ as my Savior at the age of eleven through Vacation Bible School in Interlochen, Michigan. Much of my adult life centered around being a wife and a mother to my five children (now all adults). I had held a number of positions over the years (dental assistant, cashier, secretary) before coming to work at Georgetown Bible Church in 1991. In the beginning, I worked about 11 hours per week; as the church grew, so did my workload, becoming full-time in 1994.
As my children grew up, I went back to college and earned a degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University. I now use that degree here at GBC to serve the families of the church and the community by providing opportunities for family life education. I am also the financial secretary for the church -- paying bills, doing payroll, keeping the financial records – and the administrative assistant.
